Clear guidance for an evolving project
N.O.V.A. V1.2 “Sentinel” is in active development, so this documentation focuses on stable concepts and avoids inventing an API that does not exist yet.
Current foundations
These areas describe the direction of the live Discord project. Exact commands should be confirmed inside the current build.
Talking with N.O.V.A.
Use the available slash or prefix commands in the test server. Commands may change as development continues, so rely on the in-server help command for the current list.
Memory controls
N.O.V.A. is being designed with user-controlled memory. Users should be able to view, search, add, and remove stored information instead of memory operating invisibly.
Voice features
Voice foundations include joining, leaving, and speaking in supported Discord voice channels. Natural voice interaction and accessibility improvements remain active development areas.
Permissions and safety
Server permissions determine what N.O.V.A. can access and do. Never give the bot administrator permissions unless a feature clearly requires them and you understand the risk.
Developer API: not public yet
The earlier template described fictional APIs, agents, and performance claims. Those have been removed. Public developer documentation will be added only when a real, testable interface exists.
